It took a lot of successes and a lot of failures to trust our gut instincts. Correctly. If you disagree with something, change our minds. We know great ideas can come from anywhere.
A good execution can get you through a meeting. A great idea can get you through a year. Sometimes several. You know when you've found one.
The good ideas take on a life of their own. It will be hard for many to resist putting their fingerprints on it. Don't muck up a good message with more messages.
Collaboration can make an idea better. Compromise usually makes it smaller. There's a fine line between contributing and everybody getting what they want.
Good ideas are fragile when they're new. Very few can see what's in the creators head. Somebody has to be able to take that idea and keep it safe. Just long enough until it can fly on its own. (That'd be us.)
Complexity can masquerade as intelligence. Getting something down to the one thing that matters is harder. But always performs better.
